Mardi Gras 2012, sponsored by the Atchison parishes, was a huge success!  This social fundraiser benefits the operating expenses of Atchison Catholic Elementary School.  More than 375 dinners were served while children and families enjoyed crafts, games, music, and a live auction!       

Congratulations to our raffle winners! Grocery carts full of groceries were won by Brooke Trompeter and Dorothy Randall. Cash prizes were won by Kelley Hall ($300), Matt McGuire ($100), and Jane McCarthy ($50). 

The support of our parishes' Catholic School was evident. Thank you to chairpersons Katie Crowley and Jeff Schuele for their leadership and dedication to the event!  A huge thanks to the parishioners, parents, and middle school students who volunteered their time!  May God continue to bless this community with a thriving Cathoic elementary school!

St. Benedict's FALL FIESTA THIS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 16!

Dinner is served from 11am-3pm and includes roast beef, real mashed potatoes and homemade gravy, corn, coleslaw, dinner roll and dessert, and costs $8 (adults) and $3 (children).  Booths include General Store, silent auction, family portraits, and pumpkin patch.  Kids' Games include bean bag toss, button-making, dessert walk, and ring toss, among others.     There is something for everyone!  If you would like to volunteer, please call Katie Crowley at 360-0600.

How it works:  Each Sunday of 2011 numbers will be drawn.  Your calendar number may be selected more than one time.  The calendar indicates the drawing value for the day.

Also, this year again, purchasers who return calendar stubs and donations before January 17, 2011, will be included in a special $100 early purchase drawing.
