Thank you to all the volunteers that helped move the Sacred Heart Thrift Shop to its new location on 5th and Commercial (the Mall)!  Come to the Grand Opening on Saturday, April 13!  Free hotdogs from 11:00 - 1:00!  The new Sacred Heart Variety and More Store benefits our school!  Kudos to the volunteers!

The annual ACES Fish Fry is set for March 22, serving 5:00 - 8:00.  Mark your calendar and join us for fried fish, cole slaw, baked potato, roll, brownie, and beverage!  Cost is $8.00 adults and $4.00 for children 10 and under. Carry-outs will be available!  This event is hosted by the PTC and will support teacher resources for ACES classrooms!

ACES parents are asked to call the school office to volunteer to help!  Thanks for all you do to make ACES shine! God bless our families!

A special week has been planned for ACES students as we celebrate Catholic Schools Week 2013!  See the List of activities in the document listed under this week's newsletter.  A special family day Mass is planned for Monday at 10:30.  All supporters of our school are welcome!  The Family Day lunch will follow until 12:45.  On Tuesday, we celebrate the 150th Anniversary of our Benedictine Sisters by joining them for a blessing of the 2nd Street marker outside of our school. We'll treat the Sisters to lunch and a special prayer service which will include our middle school drama class reenacting the arrival of the Sisters in Atchison. Mrs. Kay Noll has written this script for the students. In addition, we'll have anniversary cake for all!  Wednesday, Inspiration Day, will bring prayer partners together for a special activity. Teamwork Day on Thursday will find students working hard to meet fun challenges and is also a non-uniform day with students wearing favorite team shirts.  Friday is a day to say Hallelujah! as we "dress our best" with a non-uniform day.  The week will be wrapped up with a fun assembly.

Our service project for the week is collecting needed items for the Atchison Communitiy Health Clinic.
