Camp Invention to be held at Atchison Catholic Elementary School, July 9 - 13. Students currently in grades K - 5 will experiment with STEM concepts (science, technology, engineering, math) in hands-on modules each day! Staffed by ACES teachers, camp will run from 9:00 - 3:30 each day. For more information, visit www.campinvention.com. Cost is $200 if enrolled by May 31. |

Atchison Catholic Elementary School Carnival is Friday, May 11th from 5-8pm There will be food, carnival games and lots of inflatables for all ages. Tell your family and friends and plan on coming out for a night your kids will talk about for days. Wristbands are $15.00 each at the door and $8.00 for a preschool wristband. This gets you unlimited use of the inflatables for the evening. Tickets for the carnival games are .25 each. Parent volunteers are still needed....contact the school office!

Students at Atchison Catholic Elementary School's Chess Club just completed six weeks of playing the game on Thursday mornings at 7:15 a.m. More than 30 students particiapted in the club, organized by fifth grade student William Humburg and his grandfather, Larry Buessing. Johnny Mulholland, fourth grade, took first place in the club tournament, with Dylan Curry, runner-up. |

Here's the News at Atchison Catholic Elementary!
*Austin Goehner is the April Raven of the Month!
*Our 2nd Grade students will receive First Communion on Sunday, April 22! God bless each of them in a most special way!
*American Legion Citizenship Awards go to 8th grade students: Christian Wessel, Anthony Mendoza, Theresa Curry, and Michaela Pickan. Congratulations to these students and their parents!
*Next Track Meet is April 24 at Pleasant Ridge, 2:30 p.m.
*Thank you to Kay Noll's Drama Class for the great play presented to all grades this week! You made everyone smiile!

Students at Atchison Catholic Elementary School enjoy Fun-Food Thursday on the first Thursday of every month. Student Council members serve pizza, chips, and cookies along with juice, milk, or water. If parents have not prepaid, please send money to school for your child's "fun food":
